I studied at Ipswich School of Art for 4 years in Illustration and film animation. After completing the the course and graduating I moved to London and worked in advertising for 4 years as a visualiser and art director. During this time I commissioned illustration and directed photographers whilst doing freelance illustration myself.
I then went on to go freelance full time, and with the help of my then girlfriend we started a small illustration and design company, servicing large design companies and advertising agencies in London.
After a few further years in London, we moved to a village on the Essex/ Suffolk boarder. Still servicing London clients and picking up more local work , I started to supply visuals for a company that designed theme parks all over the world and did visuals for sets and reconstructions of historical events. This lead to doing work for the National Trust and similar organisations for a number of years.
I then had the opportunity to do a children books which then lead on to further commissions from other publishers. I’ve enjoyed a wide range of work and continue to do so. I hope you like my work and look forward to hearing from you.
